My experience

After completing my degree in Accounting and Finance in 2018, I started working at Barclaycard as an underwriter. I joined Whitley Stimpson as a trainee accountant in June 2019 and worked towards the ACA qualification, which I achieved in August 2022.

Describe what you do at Whitley Stimpson

My role involves the preparation of accounts and tax returns for SMEs, preparation of personal tax returns and VAT returns, and involvement in statutory audits. In addition to this, I am also involved in tax planning for various companies and individuals.

Since qualifying, Whitley Stimpson has continued to provide opportunities to learn and develop. The variety of the work and clients means that I am constantly challenged on a daily basis.
