Our Witney office is undergoing a number of personnel changes this month, and as a “hello and goodbye”, the team had a BBQ last Sunday to celebrate.
Firstly, director Laura Adkins has returned from maternity leave to head up the Witney office. Laura went on maternity leave back in March to have baby Esme Olivia, who was born 24thMarch at 3.54pm, weighing a healthy 7lb 15oz. Laura’s husband Marcus has taken over childcare duties for the next 3 months to look after Esme, and their oldest daughter Freya, aged 4, who starts school in September. Marcus has been excited at the challenge, and is the first man at BMW Oxford to take Shared Parental Leave!
Laura will be welcoming the Witney clients into the Whitley Stimpson family over the coming months, as well as remaining the primary contact for all of her existing clients based around Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire.
Sadly, Harriette Sweetingham will be leaving the Witney office this month to move up to Scotland with her boyfriend, who will be starting his Master’s Degree in September at Edinburgh University. Harriette has been an invaluable asset to the Witney office during her time here, and will be greatly missed by staff and clients. We wish her the very best of luck in her new ventures.
We also welcome Annabelle Broome to the Witney office later in July. Annabelle will be undertaking a year’s placement work experience with MHG Whitley Stimpson as part of her accounting and finance degree at Oxford Brookes University. Annabelle will be the 5thplacement student to have worked in the Witney office, and during her placement will become an integrated part of the team, gaining experience in all service areas that Whitley Stimpson have to offer.
Finally, in August the Witney office will be welcoming Jo Painting as an Account Manager, as MHG Whitley Stimpson look to increase their reach and service offering around the West Oxfordshire area.
Should you wish to speak to any member of the team in our Witney office, please call us on 01993 700010, and we will be happy to help.
