Val Buzzard
Whitley Stimpson’s Val Buzzard has been shortlisted for a Banbury Women in Business (BWIB) Award in the category of Business Woman of the Year.
The Awards recognise the achievements of professional business women in the town and the winners will be announced at the BWIB annual conference on 21st March 2017. Val was nominated by Sara Cross, accounts manager at Spratt Endicott and is one of only three business women shortlisted in the category.
Val joined leading accountancy and business advisors, Whitley Stimpson 20 years ago and became the firms first female partner in 2001. In 2016 Val became a fully registered Trust and Estate Practitioner, attaining the STEP diploma in Trusts and Estates (England and Wales). As well as working in this area she is also audit compliance director for the firm, and particularly enjoys working with charities. Val also provides specialist advice to international organisations setting-up in the UK, in addition to offering her expertise to UK companies operating overseas.

The Business Woman of the Year Award is sponsored by Jamie Briggs Removals and Storage. The category was open to a woman working at any level within an organisation who has gone beyond the call of duty to benefit their organisation through their efforts.
