The Whitley Stimpson team are raising much-needed funds for Movember. Staff from the Banbury, Bicester, High Wycombe, and Witney offices have come together to grow moustaches for the whole month of November to support the charity.
Men die on average five years earlier than women, for largely preventable reasons. Testicular cancer is the most common cancer in younger men and across the world, one man commits suicide every minute.
Movember is a charity that focuses on the men’s health crisis, funding projects that support mental health and suicide prevention, and raising money for prostate cancer and testicular cancer research.
A goal of £1,000 has been set by the Whitley Stimpson team with a total of £653 already raised. As well as growing moustaches, the firm recently celebrated Halloween and many members of staff dressed-up as a way of fundraising, which contributed towards the £653 raised so far.
