Whitley Stimpson, who have offices in Banbury, Bicester, High Wycombe and Witney, hosted a firm development and activity day at A Day in the Country, Aynho, earlier this month. The firm’s staff were able to gain a greater understanding of where they currently are as a company and how far they have come in the last 12 months.
The day began with senior staff presentations and opened up to group discussions and activities before sharing final thoughts and ideas with colleagues.
The remainder of the day was spent treasure hunting across the grounds, competing in a mixture of mental and physical contests whilst getting to know and make friends with members of other offices. The firm was divided into teams named after woodland animals following their new partnership with the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust.
A BBQ and prize giving session rounded off a highly enjoyable day that was well-attended and garnered positive feedback.
Managing Director Jonathan Walton said: “It has been a brilliant day out for us as a firm. We’ve really enjoyed ourselves. It was great to get a deep understanding of where we are and what people enjoy about working with us.
“The staff at A Day in the Country have once again been outstanding in accommodating us and served up some delicious food as usual.”
Whitley Stimpson is committed to training and developing its staff across all areas of the firm and has many detailed apprenticeship programmes to offer.
