Whitley Stimpson, one of the largest accountancy firms in Oxfordshire, is pleased to sponsor the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust (BBOWT).
The firm, who have three offices in Oxon and one in Bucks, is now an Investor in Wildlife corporate member.
Stephen Payne, director of Whitley Stimpson, said: “To be an Investor in Wildlife corporate member with the BBOWT is a very proud honour for us.
“We have a long-standing commitment to protecting and nurturing our beautiful natural environments, especially the ones we live and work in.”
“Our partnership with BBOWT will allow us to do this and we look forward to working with them over the coming years.”
Richard Woods, the corporate development officer of the BBOWT, was also keen to express his thoughts on the partnership. He said: “We are thrilled to welcome Whitley Stimpson as an Investor in Wildlife corporate member.
“This support is invaluable to us and allows us to do so much more to protect the wildlife and beautiful environment in which we live and work.
“We are very grateful that Whitley Stimpson have shown their commitment to helping to preserve our natural heritage for future generations.”
BBOWT was founded in 1959 (as the Berks, Bucks & Oxon Naturalist Trust – BBONT) by local ecologists who could see the extent of harm being done to the wonderfully rich natural environment of the three counties. Over the years they have worked with local people to make Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire rich in wildlife. BBWOT is one of the largest trusts in the UK with 54,000 members who help to protect over 2,500 hectares of land.
