Service charge accounting expert Nick Bullen, Partner, Whitley Stimpson, is holding a webinar on best practice and preparing statutory accounts on 27 February 2013. The webinar will be held jointly with Brethertons Solicitors and will cover the key factors that every property manager should consider when approaching service charge accounts.
“As every property manager will be aware, service charge accounting can be highly time-consuming, particularly in terms of explaining the finer details to lessees,” comments Bullen. “Our webinar will demystify some of the common misconceptions surrounding the preparation of service charge accounts, highlight the most efficient techniques and clarify the significance of the latest regulations to affect this complex area of accounting.”
The webinar will cover everything from the preparation of transparent accounts to setting budgets and establishing accounts procedures to comply with the Lease. It will focus primarily on how Resident Management Companies can successfully approach every aspect of service charge accounting, saving time and improving their profits by streamlining their finances.
