About us

What makes us different?

In a word: togetherness. At Whitley Stimpson, we work closely with families and businesses, giving them the accountancy advice they need to succeed.

We’re based primarily in Oxfordshire with offices in Banbury and Witney, but our services reach all the way from the Cotswolds to the powerhouse of business in London. We’re committed to helping every one of our clients across the area with a brilliant standard of service, as well as giving back to the community by working with local charities and non-profit groups.

When you talk to one of our team, we don’t want you to feel we’re just going through the motions – we want you to feel listened to. Once we understand what your business and your family needs, we’ll work out how our services can best support you. From there, we’ll stay in touch with practical guidance and answers to any questions you have.

We believe it’s our willingness to listen, connect and share ideas, along with the expert knowledge we’ve gained in over 90 years of experience, that makes us an award-winning firm.

Our heritage

Whitley Stimpson was founded in 1931 on High Street, Banbury.  With over 90 years of experience, we partner with local and national businesses, delivering industry-specific insights and expert guidance across a variety of sectors, proudly serving Oxfordshire and beyond.

Through steady growth, we now operate from our Banbury and Witney offices, enabling us to support clients across the region. Each step of our journey has allowed us to offer a broader range of services and deepen our sector-specific expertise – all while maintaining the personal connection that’s always been at the heart of what we do.

Staying connected

Things can change quickly in the world of business and finance. To keep you in the loop, we update our news feed daily on the topics that matter to you.

We also publish regular guides and tips on all things accountancy, along with recordings of our live video events, so you’ll never have to miss out.
