My experience

I joined Whitley Stimpson as a trainee accountant in September 2024 after completing my A levels in Maths, Biology and Geography.

Describe what you do at Whitley Stimpson

My everyday responsibilities involve preparing tax returns and assisting with account production for Limited Companies and Sole Traders. I’m also studying towards the ACA qualification to become a chartered accountant.

Why Whitley Stimpson?

After completing work experience at Whitley Stimpson in the Summer of 2023 I was sure that I was going to apply to their trainee scheme the following year due to the expertise and supportiveness of all the staff. The excellent trainee scheme allows me to work for a wide range of clients helping to give context to the knowledge I learn when studying towards my exams.

Alongside this, Whitley Stimpson has a high reputation in the local area with many of the staff knowing a wide range of clients on a personal level.

What matters to you?

I believe in providing excellent service to clients which is best done by getting to understand their own personal circumstances so the approach can be tailored towards them.  I also have a strong commitment to my personal development, which drives me to continually enhance my skill set.
