As part of our ongoing commitment to keep you informed about changes that may affect your business, we want to let you know about some upcoming adjustments to Xero’s subscription plans, effective from 12th September 2024.

These changes include updates to the functionality of each package, as well as price increases.

What’s changing?

Xero is rebranding its subscription packages and making some modifications to the features available within each plan.

Below is a summary of the key changes:

  1. Starter Package (Now ‘Ignite’)
  • New Price: £16 (Previously £15)
  • Key Changes: The Ignite package will allow you to input 10 bills per month instead of 5. However, it will no longer include optional extras like expenses, payroll, analytics, and projects.
  1. Standard Package (Now ‘Grow’)
  • New Price: £33 (Previously £30)
  • Key Changes: The Grow package now includes some optional extras on a small scale, such as payroll for 1 employee (previously £5 for 5 employees). However, you will no longer have the option to add on ‘analytics plus’ or ‘track projects.’
  1. Premium Package (Now ‘Comprehensive’)
  • New Price: £47 (Previously £42)
  • Key Changes: Similar to the Grow package, the Comprehensive package now includes additional features like payroll for 5 employees and ‘analytics plus’ at no extra cost. The ability to add on ‘track projects’ has been removed.
  1. Ultimate Package
  • New Price: £59 (Previously £55)
  • Key Changes: The Ultimate package remains largely the same but now includes payroll for 10 employees and the ability to track projects for up to 10 users at no extra cost. You can expand these features for an additional fee.

How does this affect you?

For clients who pay for Xero through Whitley Stimpson, these changes will be reflected in your next bill. We will adjust the fees according to the new pricing structure provided by Xero.

For those who have their own Xero account, you will notice these changes when your Xero subscription renews. Please be aware of the new pricing and functionality adjustments when planning your financial activities.
