My experience

Having moved to Witney not long before joining, I asked for recommendations from my neighbours, and Whitley Stimpson was repeatedly suggested with wonderful reviews for both the company itself and the training programme. Upon coming into the office for my interview, I was convinced it was the place for me; the team in Witney are supportive and humorous, and I feel very lucky to be a part of it. 

Describe what you do at Whitley Stimpson

As a trainee accountant, I assist with a range of jobs, including submitting tax returns, preparing accounts, and supporting audits. Additionally, I am studying for my ACA examinations.

Why Whitley Stimpson?

After graduating from university with a BSc in Math I went straight into teaching and worked my way up to head of department. I very much enjoyed my time in education, and when deciding to change careers, I knew that accounting would be enjoyable and would make use of the skills I had cultivated through my degree and career thus far.

What matters to you?

Working in a supportive, happy team, of which employees and clients are proud to be a part of. Outside of work, I am very family-oriented and adore spending time with my husband and my lovely dogs.
