My experience

I joined Whitley Stimpson in August 2021 after graduating with a BSc Economics degree from the University of Birmingham. Prior to joining Whitley Stimpson, I had previous work experience in the retail sector which has proved to be invaluable in understanding the importance of always putting the customer and now client first.

Describe what you do at Whitley Stimpson

My role includes preparing financial statements and tax returns for a range of different businesses and individuals, assisting on audits, whilst also studying towards my ACA qualification.

Whitley Stimpson has a great reputation and an excellent training programme in place to support aspiring accountants which makes it a fantastic place to work. I get to work with a wide range of clients and gain experience in lots of different areas, whilst being supported by an experienced and friendly team.

What matters to you?

I am passionate about completing tasks to a high standard with an efficient service to all clients, whilst trying to develop professionally through gaining new experience in different areas and expanding my own skillset. I think it’s really important to have a healthy work and social life balance, and that’s why I really enjoy playing football and socialising with friends outside of work hours.
