Whitley Stimpson, one of the largest independent accountancy firms in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire, today concluded their spring series of Making Tax Digital (MTD) seminars with another well-attended event at The Oak Room in High Wycombe.
Following on from last week’s seminar at A Day in the Country in Aynho, senior manager John Skinner delivered a presentation on the implications of MTD on VAT, as well as a roundup of what it is going to mean for individuals and business owners.

Alongside John at both seminars was Dan Cockerton, who is a senior account manager at Xero. Dan gave demonstrations of how Xero’s online accountancy software can be utilised to help people embrace MTD.
The events gave guests the chance to learn from one another as well as the speakers with breakfast networking sessions directly before the seminars. Members of Whitley Stimpson’s offices in Banbury, Bicester, High Wycombe and Witney were in attendance and offered their thoughts on the impending MTD shift.
